Few things are more important to who we are- as a nation, as an organization, and as a citizen of the global community- than helping those less fortunate than ourselves. Biblically, historically, we are people motivated to share our bounty with those who are in need, who are hurting, whose lives are in peril.

From the inception of World Opportunities forty four years ago, our mission has been to bring hope to the hopeless. It's a goal so simple that it might cause one to wonder: And how do we do that?

We do it with Faith, with Commitment, with Integrity, and with Compassion. Elsewhere on this website, we explore how each of these key values guides and ignites the passion of World Opportunities today. In a world where earthly and eternal needs must be met more urgently now than ever, we can no longer accept reasons or rationale for NOT getting involved. As you've read this short letter, statistically, over a dozen children worldwide have died from sickness, hunger, or neglect. Most of their lives will have been unspeakably difficult by any standards, but you CAN and should help us make a difference.

At World Opportunities, we have reduced our operating expenses to provide an efficient operations team, so we can provide needed medicines and other relief quicker than ever in our history, with over 99% of your dollars going for DIRECT AID to those in need.

We have developed a supply chain that allows us to move shipments to most parts of the world in days, not weeks! By building solid partnerships and alliances with carriers that transport commodities globally, we have been able to significantly shrink the time required for the delivery of goods. By engaging professional and verifiable professionals in many parts of the world, our goods are often processed and released for distribution within 48 hours after they arrive.

World Opportunities has built a team of professionals in every area in which we operate- legal, accounting, human resources, and banking- who not only share our desire to help the helpless, but who also share our deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ. On every level, our team is COMMITTED to the recipients of our aid and to the donors who make that aid possible.

Finally, we take every step possible to make certain your dollars, and the goods those dollars allow us to obtain, are handled with the highest standard of integrity. Every facet of our operation is internally and then independently audited, as are those of all our major partners. We take extraordinary measures to make certain that aid is received by those IN NEED, and we are proud of our record of positive distribution.
